Beef with Bowties and Asparagus

Happy Valentines' Day Everyone!!

Here's dinner tonight:

2 cups farfelle pasta
1 lb. steak (I am still using shredded round steak from earlier this week)
1 lb. asparagus
2 med onions, sliced
1 1/2 cups beef broth
1 cup tomato puree
1 tbs. dried basil
3 tbs. sundried tomatoes (not oil packed)
2 tbs. parmesan cheese

1. Cook and drain pasta as package directs.
2. If not using leftover steak, slice steak in strips.
3. Spray skillet with cooking spray, heat over med. Add asparagus, onions, and 1 cup of broth, cook about 5 mins, until liquid has evaporated. Remove from skillet.
4. Add beef to skillet. Cook 2 minutes until browned.
5. Stir in aparagus mixture, remaining broth, pasta and remaining ingredients except cheese. Cook about two mins, stirring frequently until hot. Sprinkle with cheese.
