Motivation please!

Hi all,
I came to MFP a couple of years back, never really got involved in it too much though. I'm now a bit heavier, and a bit more miserable at times. I had my daughter back in October last year, and took the whole eating for two thing too far!! I was 16 stone when she was born :frown: :sad: managed to lose 2 stone through Slimming World, but lost the motivation behind it and promptly gained a bit again! I'm getting married next November and want to lose a good chunk of this extra weight (if not all of it!) so I feel and look lovely on the big day. As my daughter's getting bigger and on her feet more and more, it's a pressing concern that I'm fit and have the energy to run with her :smile:

  • That's awesome to have a great goal with plenty of time to achieve it! Baby steps - you can do it! Tracking your eating & exercise absolutely helps you stay consistent & on track. Best of luck on your journey & take it one step at a time!

    Thank you! I'm currently going with the calorie limit MFP gave me, and when I saw it on Friday I thought there is no way I'm going to be full on that amount! I'm aware I don't always think about what I'm eating at the time, and ended the day with 300 calories left over because I'd been to the gym!
