how bad is it to go over in carb intake?

Options
I usually go over in carbs due to the carb-heavy things that are in the house. Will this hinder weight loss? I'm not opening my diary because I don't feel the need to be criticized for what I consume on a very tight budget.

Let's just say that today's total meal plan will put me 100 over my intake.

You might hold a bit extra water but as long as your calories are in check, you should be just fine in the long run.

I don't think it's any worse than going over your other macros.

Cool. I drink like 12-15 cups of water daily, so hoping that helps! Thanks!

I try not to panic, but it's kind of hard when you see that number in red font. Red=PANIC! lol

Unless your goal is ketosis, don't worry about it. You can also manually adjust your macro goals. I have mine set at 50% carbs, 35% protein, and 15% fat. I also try to keep fiber over 40g and sugar under 50g, but these are just personal preference. I lift a lot so I try to go heavier on the carbs and protein.
