Slip up for a week

My close friend left for home after being on exchange, and I was really upset because I know the chance of seeing her again will be very slim. I started to eat a lot more than my recommended 1200 calories. There are days when I ate up to 2000 calories, and I have gained weight in the last week. I need to get back on track fast, but I don't know how! I just can't stop snacking! Please help me! :(

    You have to remember your goal and tell yourself which is more important... the immediate but fleeting pleasure or the long term happiness

    I know, but it's really hard... the thing is, I can't really afford to buy my own food, like proper meals. I only get canteen food that I've already paid for, and the food there is quite fatty. And of course if I do spend money, it'll be on snacks. :(
