    would you like the psychological, social, or just plain cuckoo stuff? I've got so much strangeness coming from mom's side, dad's side & in-laws that I swear I've got a padded room reserved with my name on it

    mom's side - have a cousin who found out his sister was really his mom when he was in his 30's

    dad's side - as a teenager my dad found out his cousin was actually his sister that his mom was going to adopt out for $ and his aunt took her instead

    in-laws - they're just plain wacky & strange, but I love them more for it!

    oh, and my hubby claims to be the anti-christ since he was born on Christmas, and he worships "the pickle god"

    Pickle god! ...cracked me up!!!!!:)

    my husband and I have 7 cats.

    my stepfather and my mom have been married 20 years have a very loving realationship but have always maintained seperate homes. My mother is a neatfreak, and my stepfather's house looks like an episode of hoarders waiting to happen.

    At one point he had 18 non working cars parked in the backyard.

    my big bad marine brother is scared of turtles.

    Many belong to a religion/cult that has predicted the world was going to "soon end" for over the past 100 years. I don't belong to this religion/cult, and have a strange relationship with them due to my independent thinking. They rarely talk to me and aren't allowed to explore how/why I think different if we do talk. So, I am partly shunned. This isn't a bad thing.


    This is kind of a mute point. Just about every religion believes that the second coming is nearing and the world is nearing it's end. 100 years means nothing. Time is not relevent. Nearing an end could be 1000 years, who knows.

    My brothers and sisters are all cousins and I am an only child.

    My dad had two kids and divorced. My mom had two kids and divorced. My Dad's ex-wife is my Mom's ex-husband's aunt. So my mom's kids are my dad's ex-husband's niece and nephew and my Dad's kids are cousins of my Mom's ex-husband.

    My brothers and sisters are all "half" brothers and sisters and they are all related to the same people and I am not related to any of the people they are similarly related to.

    My mom and her sister married cousins, my grandmother fell off a 20 ft mtn, landed on her head and lived (shes also one of the smartest people in my family) my other aunt married a man 15 years younger than her and it turned out they were cousins ... there is more stuff that makes my family weird but i'm sooo not going there lol

    When my family plays cards, the winner of the hand, or just the round has to yell "F*&ked yer mother" to the other players. This is said *to* my mother, as well.

    And that's the normal stuff.

    my brother and his wife kept one of their dead cats in the freezer until the ground thawed enough in the spring so they could bury it at my parent's house.

    My family is just straight up dysfunctional.

    My mom has bipolar, diabetes, clinical depression, and severe social anxiety.
    My dad has depression (recently diagnosed after a suicide attempt, but makes total sense), he's obese, has hypertension, COPD and personality disorder not otherwise specified. That's a fancy way of saying he doesn't handle situations the way that a normal person would, I.e. he ignores or walks away or agitates you when he gets upset.

    They never really got along. My mom has been in and out of my life, but I finally ended up disowning her in the end. Too many times of shoving her hatred onto us kids and too many times of trying to accept her after she destroyed me.

    My older sister has a mental handicap like...she's got the mind and education of a third grader. She was really sick as a kid and it did some damage to her brain. Her boyfriend is also disabled in a similar way. They created two children together, who are beautiful but I fear for their future. The kids are already developing much more slowly than kids their age because both of their parents were lazy and good for nothing.

    They lived with my dad Scott free up until a few months ago after my dad attempted suicide because of it. It took us kicking them all out to become adults, get jobs, get a car and find a home.

    My younger brother is a high school drop out and a little immature, but I love him to death. We are very close.

    My husband and I made the decision to take care if my dad after his suicide attempt. My brother moved in with us as we'll, so my husband got him a job working as a poker slot machine refurbisher like he does.

    We're one big crazy family.

    My kids crap rainbows but only when I power them up with playdoh first. Mmmmmmm...

    My daughter had a pink, purple and green dinosaur birthday cake this weekend, my kids are literally....One's still in diapers, and that ain't pretty!
