Will this get me started??

So I have been searching through CL to find some stuff for at home lifting. Getting to a gym is not an option for me and I want to start lifting. After doing research it seems like light reps/lifting heavy is the best way to go(correct me if I am wrong in this thinking).
I found this set on CL and it seems like a good deal. I don't know all the weights yet as I haven't contacted them yet, but wanted to see here if this was a good set to get to start out.
Thanks for any tips and advice in advance.

that looks like a good starter set to me, even with some extras (curl bar and hammer curl bar).
Bonus for if the rack adjusts high enough to squat. Those look like good bars though, and plenty of weight.0 -
looks like a pretty basic set of weights. definitely enough to get started. there's a lot of exercises you can do with just dumbbells and a bench.0
