When is the best time to weigh yourself?

I just weighed myself and I had lost 4 pounds since the following night. Obviously shouldn't weigh myself at night, but is the morning the best time?

I think as long as it is the same time everytime it is fine...I choose to weigh myself in the morning right after I get up0

I weigh in the morning as well before I put anything in my mouth that makes the numbers change. LOL! Of course, the key is that you HAVE to weigh at the same time for consistency and try to have the same type of clothes on each time. If you weigh with a hoodie on and then next time no hoodie, did you really lose weight or was the hoodie just heavy?0 -

Best time is first thing in the morning after you use the restroom before you shower or eat anything.0

I have heard that morning is best. I guess as long as you stay consistent with your timing, you should be okay. I weigh myself first thing in the morning before eating, as soon as I get up.0

Same time and under the same conditions. I do my weight in every Friday morning around 6:00AM after using the facilities and before my shower and before I eat or drink anything.
Fluxuations like you're seeing are most likely due to water0 -
Weigh yourself once a week, the same day every week and around the same time.
I personally prefer to weigh myself before I've eaten or drank anything, but that's just me.
Your weight will fluctuate by quite a bit over the course of a day and over the course of a week. (I'm always at LEAST 3 pounds heavier at night, and heavier in the beginning of the week.) Your true weight loss for the week will show on that same day if you are consistent with your weigh ins.0 -
