Just had for lunch...tasty and very fast! This is for a single serving, but could easily be doubled/tripled/quadrupled

Small zip-lock steam bag
4 oz. boneless/skinless chicken breast, cut into bite-size pieces
1/4 cup shredded 2% mozzarella cheese
2 Tbsp organic pizza sauce
1/2 tsp garlic powder

Put the chicken in a small or medium Zip-loc steam bag. Microwave for 2 minutes. Add remaining ingredients to bag and microwave for 1 more minute.

How does the chicken turn out ? I never thought you could put it in the microwave!

As long as you don't overcook it, it's good! No oil, so healthier. The steam bags make it even easier. Steaming it keeps it more moist.

Yes, especially since you cut it up first.

Did you put this on some type of bread since you called it pizza? What is the sodium intake for this? Thanks!

Nope no bread...just called Pizza Chicken because of the sauce and cheese. 419 mg of sodium.
  • This sounds good think i'll try it. and so easy
  • Sounds good. To cut down on sodium and sugars I might try Great Value tomato sauce in the can and add oregano for the pizza flavor. Good job on your wt loss!
