I would like to make fish tacos on home made tortillas. Any thoughts of what to put on them besides the fish?

Some sort of fruity salsa (pineapple salsa is great).

Mango salsa and cabbage! With a sour cream sauce.... DELISH!

Bonefish Grill has some good fish tacos, try them out and if you like them--- duplicate the recipe!

I do tilapia, salsa, tomatoes, onions, jalapenos, shredded cheese, and a romaine leaf. MMM

I use chopped onion, fresh chopped cilantro, red pepper, and guacamole. And fresh lime juice.
  • I make the best fish tacos. I like a nice sauce to keep it moist, not too watery though. Like mango chutney. A good way to avoid the sauce calories is to replace it with orange wedges. A good route is fish, lettuce, orange wedges, and sprouts. Then pour on a little of the lemon/butter mix you cooked the fish in.

I like a cabbage slaw, hot sauce and non-fat greek yogurt (mixed to taste with a little lime juice, honey and cumin). Avocado is a great addition, too.

All I need is some hot fish fresh off the grill and some jalapeños...maybe a little cabbage slaw.
