How many sets and reps should I do?

I'm no expert on this but I've read it's best to do 3 sets of 6 reps0

5x5 Five sets of five or 3x5 three sets of five.
Your weight must increase each session or each week to produce enough stimulus for muscle growth and strength increases to occur, you must also eat enough to fuel the growth.
