Daily Goal or Net..?

My daily goal in calories is 1540. The Net goal is 1500. I've read posts here of people saying that they eat until their net is 1200 and others that they eat their daily goal of calories. I've been eating an average of 1200-1300 Net and I'm always under my daily calorie goal. So my question is, should I follow the Net calorie or Daily calorie goal?

Net is what you have eaten - what you have burned exercising. Just don't let your net drop below 1200 and you will be fine.0

Exercise is used to create a deficit so that you can eat more food!
Calculating your TDEE (including your activity/exercise) and taking 15-20% from that will give you your total calorie goal and there would not be a need to eat back or worry with exercise calories.0 -
or, just know that you can eat up to your daily goal and not gain weight. I have no desire to do extra math, I just sync my fitbit and then eat what it says I should.0
