My favorite yoga DVD is Power Yoga by Jeanette Jenkins. You can get it at www.collagevideo.com or www.thehollywoodtrainer.com

There are several on youtube you could try out until you found a yogi's style you liked. I like Tara Stile's because she does faster, more fluid motions instead of the traditional stretch and hold it for 30 seconds I'm used to.

I like "The Biggest Loser - Weight Loss Yoga" dvd... I'm not a big fan of regular yoga, but really enjoy this weight loss kind of yoga. It's a lot of holding harder poses to work your muscles, a lot of core work, and there's three different levels you can choose from.

I vote for Rodney Yee too. I have his 5 daily workouts for the week DVD, and I love it!

I never found a DVD that worked for me but really enjoy the Yoga options on my Wii Fit. If you have a Wii this is a great option and very easy to learn the basics without having to follow a routine.

I really liked MTV's Yoga. It's so old that you can get it for $2-3 bucks on Amazon.

I was just thinking about getting a yoga DVD too, but I don't know how to choose, I would like someone who provides good explanations, but I don't really know what the goal is-stretching? strength? meditation? flexibility? poses? just kind abumping here in case someone has something good.

Like many others have mentioned Rodney Yee is good for explaining the basics, picking up one of his dvds is a good place to start. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=X0pZUjXGq8w
