Is it bad that partially one of the main reasons i want to lose weight is because i want my ex boyfriend who is also my best friend and i want him to love me again? i mean he cares about me and maybe still has a thing for me. I feel that if i get in shape i'll be more attractive and he'll think that im pretty again.
i don't know, i'm just feeling really sad because i havent really lost any weight lately and i just want to be perfect and pretty (

You need to lose weight for yourself and others will follow. If he really loves you then he will love you no matter what size you are. Love is in the eye of the beholder :happy:0

Lose the weight for yourself. Weight loss is a personal journey. If you're doing it for anyone other than yourself, you're setting yourself up for a big disappointment. He may not even notice you've lost the weight. You may not get the validation and payoff you're looking for.
No one can be perfect. That's unattainable. Be the best version of you that you can be. And if that's you in the picture, you already are very pretty.0 -

i see where you're coming from and i am doing this for myself but also for that one reason and its really getting me that i'm not seeing any progress in my weight
and thank you, that is me.
i guess you're right and i just need to be the best version of me that i can be.0 -
Do it for yourself. People won't love you more just because you are thinner.0

If his "love" depends on your weight and how pretty he thinks you are at a given time, it isn't love.0
