Wifi scale

I don't see where this has been discussed for awhile, so I will ask my question. No throwing things if it is a repeat!

I am contemplating getting a wifi scale. Looking to see which is better, the Withings or the Aria. Both sync with the FitBit, but I think only Withings syncs with more 3rd party apps.

Thoughts? About either or neither?

    It's not a terribly bad idea, but I never understood the need to spend so much money on a scale, when it only takes a few seconds to enter your new weight into these applications.
