I think the fear mongering is getting a little old....and lame....

This. Just what are you actually selling? Cut to the chase already so we can get on to something else.

You said it yourself...staying 'current' means being a slave to trends. Trends come in and out of fashion. What you are punting ( and have done so in a previous post) is the latest trend. No one food is the 'villain'.
This kind of thinking is old school

Someone enjoys attention .. good and negative. .. *sigh*

P.S. .. this may come as a shock .. but I heard the Earth was round! I'm relieved to know that we're not gonna fall off the edge of the sea if we get too close to the edge..

Crap, I just consumed 34 grams of sugars from vegetables and milk. Yeah, need to cut back on those tomatoes and soybeans.

    Crazy much?

With the caps lock and the 'I'm the only one who knows anything' tone -- just stop. *looks to see if there's a block or hide setting*

read about, or ask your doc about what skinny fat means

What on earth does skinny fat have to do with sugar. You are full of hyperbole and unsubstantiated claims.

What I love about my fitness pal: lots of people with common sense who aren't afraid to (strongly) disagree with people who claim to have a magic secret to dealing with health , fitness and weight-loss. I love you common-sensers! You know who you are :)
