Protein is HORRIBLY low today-

Yeah, I know, I really biffed it today with the food choices, but bottom line is that the damage is done. now, when i look at the totals, I am severely low on my protein, not something I aim for.

Dilemma is - do I have a protein shake to bring up the protein and as a result, add 360 calories to my day? or take the protein hit and let it go?

thoughts?

    In my opinion, if it's just today, it's not going to cause any detrimental damage. It would be best to be under your protein than to be over your calories. Just be prepared for any hunger that may result later today, since protein is very satisfying for long period of times. If you do get hungry, I'd recommend having a really high fiber, low calorie snack (like raw vegetables).
