Is it safe to eat a small amount of tuna each day? I love the 3 oz. Starkist tuna pouches - they're delicious, full of protein, and they fit right into my calorie counting. But I'm worried about too much mercury or other possible issues with eating it more than once or twice a week. Do you know if it's safe in small amounts several times a week?

Yes I eat a lot of tuna probably at least 4 times a week so would be good to know about this too, i thought it was tinned tuna which had the highest mercury levels?0

If you are eating tuna (pink) then it is okay, but if you are eating albacore (white) then you may have a slight risk.0
