Skipping the Gym

So come January I plan to avoid the gym for a few weeks! All the New Years resolution tend to make our gym very crowded! I am on a limited time schedule so I can only adjust my workout times slightly and really don't have the time to go and put my name on a list to use cardio equipment. Usually there are so many people hovering around that it makes it a little ackward while you are using machines and you are constantly weaving around people trying to get for one piece of equipment to the next. In the past I have just ended up really frustrated and annoyed!

I have a couple Cathe videos that I am hoping will replace my gym time and well as the 30 day shred that I haven't yet used. I've also requested a couple kettlebells for Christmas. I would love to learn to use them! I also have a treadmill at home.

I started into a pretty good routine in October and then in November started adding in some weights. I just want to keep up with my progress. I've been enjoying my gym times and just don't want to regress or lose the pattern.

Has anyone else left the gym atmosphere and still successfully stayed on track? Any pointers?
