Healthy foods that can be cooked in microwave?

I am going on a village trip for work and will be staying in the clinic there for a week. There is a fridge and a microwave so i am trying to come up with some decent food ideas to take with me. Does anyone have any ideas?

no butter/salt added popcorn, pork rinds, eggs, bacon, pretty much any grain (oatmeal, rice, quinoa, grits, etc...), steamed in the bag veggies, well pretty much anything that you aren't going for a "crunchy texture". Moisture is your friend with the microwave, think braise or steam when cooking in the radiation cube.

Bags of frozen veggies. Butter. Bacon. Potatoes. Jerky. They might have fish there.

    Hello Jess

    What is a "village trip"?

I travel and must stay in motels for months at a time.

    Things Ive learned are:

Motel trash cans are too small so bring plastic shopping bags so you can throw the garbage away asap and not smell up the room.
Bring an ice cooler because the refrigerators are too small.
Buy a package of plastic ware and toss after each meal.
    Bring bottled water.
    Bring fruit.
Amy's frozen dinners are great because they are tasty, around 300 cals, & the perfect size for stacking in the small refrigerator freezer compartments. Amy's has decent food and decent choices.

And finally....The bed spreads are not washed regularly and you can bet that everyone in every hotel in every city has had at least one naked butt sitting on it. You can also bet that every bed spread in every motel contains at least one pubic hair. Be careful of where you store and prepare you food....Just sayin
