Ripped in 30 and Lifting

I was wondering if anybody has lifted heavy 3 days a week and did Ripped in 30 on the other days. I'm considering this as my New Year Challenge for 30 days! I’m 12-17 pounds from my goal weight. My goal is to build muscle and lose those last few pounds of fat! Thoughts!
