Hi ladies, are any of you taking protein such as liquid egg whites or whey? If so, are you seeing a difference in your workout?

Protein is protein. It's a macro that you can get from whey protein or chicken breast. It isn't going to cause any magical changes in your weight loss. Those shakes can be used as a supplement to your diet. I use them sometimes.0

I use Syntha Six after my workouts. I haven't noticed any magical changes other than that I no longer struggle to hit my protein goal.0

I disagree with both posters before. I modfied recently to try to take in 100-130 grams of protein a day and I notice a HUGE difference. I have been limiting my starchy carbs as well, but replenishing enough from workouts. I have more energy in my workouts, I am losing faster, and I look more toned and less puffy overall. Isopure Low Carb Dutch Chocolate is what I use. I don't rely on animal protein.0

I eat 4 egg whites every morning with my breakfast and 4 oz. lean protein at both lunch and dinner. In addition, I have 2-3 protein-based shakes/day (3 on lift days...2 on non-lift days). I lift heavy weights 4 days/week (cardio 3 days/week).
I have noticed with this routine that I feel fuller longer...and my weight loss/body transformation has been wonderful. I don't attribute it to protein alone, though.0 -

Well, feel free to disagree but let's be clear on what's being disagreed upon. I was referring to the different sources of protein that you can consume, not on increasing the grams of protein you consume per day.0 -
This isn't going to end well...0
