I have been really stressed lately. And I mean above normal, everyday stressed. Like waiting for HUGE news that effects our life stress. I have had absolutely NO appetite like could go all day without eating and not get hungry. And it seems that when I eat, I end up with a stomach ache. Do I force myself to eat?? I don't want my body to go into starvation mode but food is making me sick. Suggestions???

starvation mood happens only if you dont eat for so many freaking days so dont worry about it
when im stress i tend to eat alot but i tackle that with exercise i go and left weight and all my stress is gone and then i repeat again
exercise help sending some hormons which helps ur body to relax and im sure after exercising you will feel hungry0 -
I have generalised anxiety disorder, so every day things like leaving the flat and going shopping or going to uni brings ridiculous amounts of stress and anxiety! I have times where I literally can't even chew food because my stomach is in knots, so I tend to have a smoothie a day either for breakfast or dinner that's between 200-400 calories, you can add an extra banana or a handful more fruit/greens than usual to add the calories up more I find fruit easier to eat than everything else, bananas, strawberries, cherries, grapes etc. Soup is good as well.
The most important thing is trying to eliminate the cause of stress in the first place, as you've said though, above normal stress is difficult to deal with, but maybe make time in the day for time to relax (eg. a bath, or twenty minutes reading) aside from exercise or your busy life, just to clear your head?0
