My name is Danni, and I am from Toronto. I joined MFP a month ago to, you guessed it, lose weight. My sister has had success with it, so I thought I'd give it a go-- and I love it! I'm more cautious about what I put into my body, and it pushes me to add daily physical activity in my hectic schedule.

I've tried losing weight many, many times before, and all for the wrong reasons. I lost roughly 25 pounds in the past, but gained it almost all back when I went back to school to get another degree, le sigh.

Needless to say, I was never as dedicated as I am now!

I'm 24, 5'0 and my goal is to lose 100 pounds, so I can be at a medically recommended, healthy weight.

Anyway! I'm new to the message boards. I usually just use my phone app, but after reading all the success stories, tips, and generally wonderfully posts from all you wonderful people, I'd love to make new friends too! Make friends, lose weight? Double win!
