I post a few statuses a day and sometimes they're not fitness related haha but I think the majority of my friends are entertained by them, haha I've made legitimate friends here, who I talk to about tons of other things besides MFP related stuff , a few people who only want the fitness aspect have deleted me for it probably, but it wouldn't bother me. Haha I could understand why someone would do that but IDK why you don't just delete the person!

I hid one of the people I friended when I first started on MFP. He was constantly posting stuff about being single and fishing for compliments from women, but when I tried to get to know him as a person, he told me he didn't want any relationship with anyone. I asked why he kept posting about it then and he didn't have much of an answer. I like to check in on him sometimes but I was just so tired of seeing an otherwise goodlooking and successful man be so dang pitiful lol

I have a person in my newsfeed who unfriended me, apparently because I hadn't been active enough for her. I assume that's the reason because we've barely had any interaction at all, and what there was consisted of the normal, innocuous stuff, like "Good job," etc.. But her stuff still appears in my newsfeed. Kind of aggravating.

There are probably friends of mine that "hide" me when I start drunk posting. I drunk post here so I don't do it on fb.

Oh no, we were just talking about this the other day cuz i said i 'hide' my first friend. I was getting crap for just not deleting them. I just didn't want to cause any drama, so I hide them.

And I am not immature! If you have your reasons, why the hell should anyone else care?

I didn't realize we could do that. Knowing that, I might want to hide one or two, as I really don't want to see every time they reply to a thread or add a knew friend. Or maybe I should just try asking them to turn those off?

I have this chick named MoreBean on Hide mode, and it's awesome because they don't get to annoy you anymore more with their inane feed but there is no way they can ever find out that you hid them. The Hide feature is awesome.

    I think she knows now.

I have one person hidded due to explicit posts. It doesn't bother me in general, but something posted was super familiar and then I realized it was in a book. So as I saw it they were lies for attention. I felt hide was better than delete.

Yeah, I did this too. One "friend" posted like 50 times a day and my home screen was packed with comments upon comments upon comments.

Nope, why have them on your FL if you're just going to hide them?

Wait... there is a hide feature on MFP??? REALLY? I didn't know that!!!

That said - no. They wouldn't be ON my friends list if I was just going to ignore them! That's so strange. That's like having a boyfriend but never snuggling him. Frying bacon and then not eating it. Putting on skates but not getting on the ice...

    It just doesn't make sense.
  • Yes, all of them.

Because I get distracted by their boobies
