I check out allot of peoples daily intake, and like me in the past, they seem to believe that eating as little as possible is the road to success. And like me they will discover that although you may see the scale rocketing towards you altimate goal, it is a false hope. My greatest success was right before my wedding. I went from 185 lbs to 128 lbs!! I was sooooo proud, although my hubby says I was an extremely angry person!! And like I always tell him... I WAS HUNGARY!!!!! LOL I was using Weight Watchers, and although I had an allotment of 25 points a day, I was only taking in about 7 - 10. I was staving constantly! I felt weak, moody, and tired all the time! But when our highly anticipated honeymoon came I could wear my hard earned two piece with pride. The resort, and most importantly the FOOD was awsome! I gained 15 pounds in one week! And I'm sure your thinking that as soon as I got home I just needed to get back on the program. But when you have been in starvation mode you body will hold on to what ever it can get for dear life (litteraly). And I'm sure we all know how hard it is to get back into that mind set. It wasnt long before I had climbed all the way back up to 185. The depression was crushing! Since then I have tried to recreate my previous success, to no evail. So this time, no matter how geared up I get when I see the scale dropping... I will not starve myself! I am going to eat the things I am hungery for so that the craving doesnt drive me to eat twice as much in some other naughty alternative to compensate. I am not going to use artificial sweeteners because they have been proven to increase the appitite. I will use portion control, excersize, and patients to get the results I want in a healthy manner. I guess I just wanted to share that and I was wondering what other peoples thought are on this subject? (sorry for my poor spelling! )
