What are your favorite books?
I just decided before the year is over I will read all the books on my bookshelf that I have never read. I picked one yesterday and I'm about 40 pages away from being done. Only 4 more books to go!

Have you read Bared to You and Reflected in You by Sylvia Day? Very similar to Fifty Shades and also very hard to put down. The Kelly Favor books are a little more timid than those two series' but are still pretty good. There are 12 books in that series but they're all pretty short and quick to read.

I'm a big Stephen King fan. I know not everyone is, but I've got most of his books on my Kindle.

If anyone is on Goodreads, you can check out my Library.

It's hilarious and keeps you captivated. I can't put it down. I guess that's why I'm almost done with it and I just started reading it last night. Haha

I LOVED that series. I have heard about the other series that is like Fifty Shades but from reading the back of the book I feel like it's TOO much like it and I won't enjoy it.

Pshh everyone SHOULD be a fan.

I read mostly all Stephen King. Every now and then, I'll throw something else in for a break. Now, I'm reading Turning Angel by Greg Iles.

Please for the love of GOD do not attempt to read those books. Never in my life have I experienced more uncomfortably awkward, trite, forced, uneducated or just plain BAD writing in my life. And don't get me started on how the characters are awkward, forced, unconvincing, and completely underdeveloped. This is not an exaggeration. I'll repeat it: This is not an exaggeration! There are plenty of WELL-written romance novels out there that will get your nethers warm without groaning and repeatedly rolling your eyes over how GOD AWFUL those books are.

I HATE typical romance novels. They make me wanna stab my eyeballs out. I loved fifty shades because it was weird and different. You may think they are "god awful" but I personally loved it. Romance novels on the other hand are terrible and I can't read them even if I tried.

LOL, I will admit the writing was poor but Fifty Shades was a fun read for me. I got through all three books fairly quickly and I thought it was a quick and fun read. I never took it seriously. Plus I can't stand romance novels so I liked them.
