Toning

I have been doing a lot of cardio and I just recently started with weights. What would be your recommendations on the best way to tone? I appreciate the input. Thanks :)

    There is no such thing as toning,. There is growing muscle and there is losing the fat covering it up. To lose fat eat less calories than you burn. To grow muscle, do a good lifting routine centered around compound barbell lifts or a good bodyweight routine and realize that progress will stall in a few months until you can eat at a calorie surplus.

    Thanks, I'm not really focused on what the scale says. I just want to look nice. And my regular exercise is helping :)
