My throat hurts, it started a few days ago, I started a treatment, and it didn't get worse.
So I went on with my insanity workouts.
The only thing is, that with this aching throat I am REALLY hungry all day, and I listen to my body, and eat, because I know that I have to recover. I can barely stay under my calorie goal... I'm trying to eat oranges, kiwis and other fruits but I started to dream about chocolates:)). Even after I ate I still think about more food. I really don't want to ruin anything, but I'm not sure if I should eat these days more till I get better or just try to stay under my calorie goal.
What do you MFP People think ?

If you are hungry then eat more or work out less. Most people tend to avoid working out if they are not feeling 100% - actually our gym will not allow you in at all if you are sick.0

You should not be training intensively if you are sick, you risk overreaching and even overtraining syndrome (throat infections and immune suppression are symptoms BTW). Eat plenty of nutrient dense food like oily fish, nuts, seeds, fruit and veggies. It's not just vitamin C you need for a healthy immune function, minerals, protein and essential fatty acids all play key roles. Pure cocoa is actually packed with minerals, just choose a dark sugar free chocolate because sugar suppresses immune function.

You say you started "treatment". Does that include medication? If so, have you checked to see if increased appetite is a side effect of the medication?0

Thanks for your advices, it's possible that I've been overtraining, and got sick because of that.
My treatment consists of tees, and pills, but they don't have increased appetite as a side effect, I checked it.
Anyway, I decided that I'll rest for a few days:)0
