Pesto Pita Pizza!! Mmmmm....

This is full of flavor!!

1 slice of whole grain pita bred (I use the pita wrap instead of the pocket as it has less calories around 140)
Spread pesto sauce on top of pita (I use about 2 tablespoons)
Add Chopped roma tomatoes (to taste)
Add chopped spinach (to taste)
Add Artichoke hearts (I use the jarred marinated ones because they are GOOD! but they have more cals.)
Add crumbled feta cheese


Place in 350degree oven till desired crispness. I like mine just warmed for about 5 mins. Hubby likes his crispy. maybe 10 or more.
When I plunked all the ingredients I use into the Calorie Counter it said about 350 calories

Eat this with a side salad and you have a filling tasty healthy meal.

    That sounds yummy! Probably be something I'd have to do for lunch by myself b/c there would be NO WAY I could get my bf to eat that for dinner! He doesn't do anything green except ice burg lettuce!

    haha. well I am like that as well. not a veggie person. But you should try this if you like pesto. It is amazing. We had it again tonight but this time we put some chicken from the night before on it. turned out great. And didnt have the spinach so left that out. I have hooked a few people on this already.
