HRM for newbies

Options
Just wondering if you lovely people could give me a little help..
Ive recently bought a Polar FT4 HRM and Ive set it up and left the 'zones' (124 - 160) as they came. After my netball game last night the watch told me my maximum was 190 and average of 160 I thought that seemed a bit high... then on my walk/jog this morning after 25 mins my maximun was 187 and average of 145.

Could someone help my figure out what my zone should be?

Im 173cm and currently 82kg

Thanks!
(I thought i was getting fitter, the thing would of exploded had I used it a year ago!)

Forget about the zones, they really mean nothing. Work to your capacity. As you get more fit your HR should drop with exertion but there's no benefit to staying in the zones the monitor sets up. I turned all the beeps and junk off on mine.
