Can't get motivated

I've lost about 60 lbs in the past two years but lately I've been making new friends and going out more. They don't care what they eat, so when they are eating junk, I do too. I haven't really gained that much back but I can't motivate myself to just not eat it and lose weight again. I am going to Los Angeles in seven months for an internship and I really need to lose before then.
Any advice to get motivated again?

Fake it till you make it! Take one day at a time. Decide today you will eat healthy and get some exercise. Vow the same the next day. You'll get the fitness bug back naturally in the end!0

Just do it. Motivation comes from one person only..... you. if you can't motivate yourself then you may as well give up & stop trying.
Set a goal, stick to it. If you want to give up then think of yourself as a quitter before you do give up. When you say "that's enough I can't do anymore" ... push harder & do it till you drop. Be hard on yourself, even on the inside.0 -

I love watching this to get motivated. Also Elliott Hulse is one of my favorite youtubers for strength and bodybuilding info.0 -
I lost 55lbs. in 8 months...it's doable, but you have to get your head in it! I am going on a cruise in 2 weeks and that is what prompted me to make the change...it's 90% about the food and 10% about the exercise! Good Luck!! YOU CAN DO IT!!0

What I'd suggest is to keep reminding yourself how bad you want it. You want this, right? You want it more than a beer, a chocolate bar, a piece of pie (whatever your downfall has been that caused you to gain weight). That means you may need to sacrifice some things, and only go out once a week, rather than 3 times/week, etc.
You posted about wanting motivation in October as well. Have you been trying to eat healthy then, and try to become happy with how you are now? Yes, you can lose weight but I suggest being happy with how you are now and then improving on it. You'll be less stressed that way too.
Learn to say no --- to yourself for certain food choices, to your friends if you feel like going out might bust a good day yuo've had, etc.
In the end, only you can provide the motivation you need. You're either gonna do it, or you won't. No outside influences will change that.

Yup. Warning: tough love.
Stop hanging out with people that don't help you get to your goals and decide to get your mind right and get back at it. Only you can do it so there's nothing anyone here can do for you. Either it's worth it to you to be strong healthy and good looking or you'd rather be lazy. Your choice.
It hasn't changed since Yoda said it. "Do or do not. There is no try."0 -
Up your exercise. Not saying exercise will burn all your extra calories and make overheating ok, but for me at least, exercise helps me stay motivated to eating healthy. After doing a few intense sessions and burning 500 calories or more each time, you'll find your willpower is much stronger.0
