I have lost approx. 25 lbs now, and I have a hard time seeing myself as being smaller ( I have been overweight/obese for the majority of my life). Sometimes I feel like the only way that I physically see a difference is when I try on older jeans that are too loose for me now.
I feel that now that I'm down 25 lbs down, I'm scared that I won't be able to lose more weight or lose it as quickly. Instead of looking at it as a "I have my whole life to continue to do this," I feel like I am letting fear mentally block me from continuing on and pushing forward, and letting it get me down. I have my sister's wedding coming up this next July, and so I think it's the fact that I have somewhat of a timeline that's psyching me out.
Advice?

Your not alone. I read a post on here not long ago about the very same thing. 25lbs is great, congrads!!! After being heavy for so long in our life no matter what anyone says we cant see the difference. Some have lost 100lbs and still see themselves as they used to be. My husband and daughter have been telling me how great I look after 16lbs. My husband keeps rubbing my belly and telling me how flat its gettting and the changes he sees, I really thought he was crazy. But since reading that post I really had to start looking at myself in the mirror more and telling myself that I can see the changes too. Im just sarting to think I notice something. Many said that the only way the noticed a change was taking pictures after each 5 to 10lbs. Start looking a yourself more and do a self talk. 25lbs is something to be proud of. Dont worry about losing it quickly because it stays off more at a slower healthier pace. Take some pictures and really look at yourself. Dont stress, look a yourself and see your true beauty. You can do it, just know you are not alone. By July you will be proud of yourself and I hope even sooner. :flowerforyou:0

I just looked at your pictures and what a difference 25lbs has made. Keep doing what ever your doing, your beautiful and you look great just the way you are. I dont know how much more you need to lose by july, but I am impressed. Add me as a friend if you would like cause I would like to see your progress and your july pictures.0
