Chilli Pepper and Oil?

If I stir fry something and put 4-5 chilli pepper in there to spice the food but did not eat it, should I log in their calories?

So does oil...If I add 3-4 tablespoons of oil for frying things like eggs-I like mine crispy, but did not eat all of the oil, should I log it as 3-4 tablespoons of oil? And how should I log the oil for that? :indifferent:

Guesstimate how much oil you consumed. I doubt it was more than 1/2 a tablespoon.

I'm still too traumatized by your wasting of chili peppers to answer that one.

Agreed on all counts! Also, any calories from the chili peppers would be minimal (as in <1 calorie) so don't worry about it.

I usually log about 3/4 of the oil, and don't worry about the peppers, if I don't eat them. Peppers are so low in calories anyway that it wouldn't really matter.

 This ^^ Actually, I would imagine it's < 1/2 Tbls on one egg. 1/2 Tbls is a lot of oil to stick to one egg. Don't add the peppers at all. You didn't eat them and even if you did unless they were very large they have very few calories.

Thanks all for the reply. :D I am trying to make Thai spicy stir fry meat with basil so a lots of chilli is required, and it goes well with crispy fried egg. The authentic recipe actually use more chilli than what I am planning to use-like a fistful of them. Last time I made it, I used 3 peppers but it's not that spicy so I will double it up this time. :)
