Having a hard time eating

Long story short I struggled with anorexia and bulimia in my late teens and early 20s. Since then, I am the queen of weight fluctuations. I did WW for a while, found it wasn't really working (it did at first, and then I gained weight back after about 4 months and 10 lbs lost). So I decided to try this again. But here is the problem with counting calories for me. I LIKE seeing a huge deficit, and I know it's not healthy. I LIKE seeing that I still have 500 calories left on some days to eat (BTW I do ballet up to 3 days a week and gymnastics 4 times a week, so it's not hard to get a deficit). I want to learn how to eat PROPERLY, because I have no doubt that my body is a little bit more messed up than someone who didn't try to starve themselves to nothingness. And even though I'm having these deficits, I am not losing weight like I would like, which leads me to not want to eat ect ect. So, any suggestions? Because I have no idea how to do this the healthy way!

Set your goal to maintain then. Thus, when it says you still have 500 left, you actually have the normal 500 deficit for the 1 pound a week goal.0
