I was reading a post about people asking other people about similar height and weight about their success stories and the guy pointed out that even though they are the same height and weight in the beginning they are different people. And if you body is not meant to be a size 0 to stop trying to get to a size 0, because you are only setting yourself up for failure. Very good point! Just in case anyone is wondering about the post, I referenced it below.

Now to get to the point of my Topic. I have a movie with Monique in it. Love her btw. In the movie, she spends the entire movie wanting to be thinner, never loving herself first. Loving yourself and being happy with yourself is key to being happy in life. Losing weight is a lifestyle change, it doesn't not magically make you someone new. You're still the same person, so you might as well accept that before you embark on this journey, because this journey is hard it has it's ups and its downs and you are your own worst enemy. There is a part in the movie where she meets a cute Dr. and falls in love with him and he makes her face the fact that she will never be a size 5 she just doesn't have the bone structure for it or the body type. Sometimes that can be the harshest thing to hear, especially from somebody you love. In the movie, they separate, she thinks he is seeing someone else or something. She goes home and falls into a depression. And during that depression, she learns to accept herself as she is. In accepting herself she does something wonderful, opens a clothing line for plus size women. Yay! but anyway, the point is that You need to accept the reality of your weight loss journey and be open to all the possibilities so that you can make the best of it. I'm not saying I'm the best example. With my bi-polar and ADHD I fall off the wagon alot but I always get back up and get back on. As shown by my 25 lb loss. That was my New Years Resolution to lose the 20+ lbs I gained on my new medication that i started in February of 2011.
