For the lactose intolerant...

Ok, so maybe this isn't new news to anyone else, but it was new to me!
I'm lactose intolerant. For the last 16 years (I'm 26 - didn't figure milk was causing the problems until I was 10) I have had ZERO milk, yogurts, creamers, etc that weren't soy, rice, or coconut based. Have had cheese. Cheese doesn't seem to cause problems (most are under 1 % lactose unless you're eating Velveeta - that stuff has 10% lactose)
In doing some internet research last weekend I found that people who are lactose intolerant can sometimes still tolerate yogurts (regular and greek) that have live active cultures in them. This is because yogurts have a very low percentage of lactose, and the ones with live active cultures actually contain the enzyme we need to break the lactose down.
So I decided to try some plain greek yogurt last Sunday. I'd never had greek yogurt before, and I LOVED it. And it didn't hurt my stomach or cause any of the usual uncomfortable problems that eating/drinking lactose does.
Just wanted to share - I've been eating it every day - it's so friggin good!!!
