I love my wines - I live in Western Australia and we get the most amazing wines from the Margaret River region. We are also fortunate enough to have a good friend who owns a winery down there. Love my Cabernet Sauvignon or a nice Merlot.. Love a crisp dry white in summer (it gets quite hot here - last year we had 50 days of the temperature being over 35 degrees celcius - 95 degrees fahrenheit) so white wine is popular or even a sparkling wine or two in my house!0

I like dry white wine, I'm not sure which type is my favourite. Maybe chardonnay. I also like cava or prosecco. I don't drink very often these days.0

So glad to see other wine lovers. Especially Mascato0

I drink only red.......and the stronger the better. Mostly it's Merlot, Cabernet, and Pinot Noir for me. Lately i've been into Portugese and Argentinian wines.0

I drink wine most evenings with dinner.
What I drink depends on the season and what's for dinner.
Lately I've been drinking a dry pinot noir.
Not a fan of sweet wines.0 -
I love red wine. As to what type, it just depends on what I'm pairing it with. Not a huge fan of white wine, but I do drink it more in the summer.0

Cabernet. Anything by Justin, especially the Isosceles.0

I love Simi Chardonnay. Barefoot Moscato is fantastic, as well. White Merlot, too!0

My favorite is Moscato and White ZIn!0

Love wine; we go to wine tastings all the time.
Current favorite is New Zealand Marborough Sauvignon Blanc
and Biltmore's Blanc de Blanc (Their driest Sparkling wine)
there was a local winery, but they had to shut their doors and they made an awesome Chocolate Raspberry Wine (it's a red) and it's perfect for Winter...it is very "warming"0 -
I adore Chardonnay.0

After doing several trips to different wine regions throughout the world and sampling different varietals throughout I have found myself always going for a Bordeaux or a big bold Napa Cab. if i must drink a white it will be a Sav Blanc. The Napa Chards are too buttery and oakey for my pallet. While something like a Moscato or a White Zin are way too sweet. I would cringe if i heard someone order White Zin in a restaurant. Many consider it a starter wine and it isn't taken seriously in the wine community at large.0

Another moscato fan here!0

mostly red for me, often full bodied French wines, but got a taste for Californian Pinot Noir after visiting the region in September0

To distinquish myself as a wine connoisseur, I would google the most obscure offering and claim to love it  The fact is though, I enjoy a good Cabernet better than anything. A side benefit is that just about any winery worth the cork can make a good Cab. Most of mine is aroun $7 :drinker:0
