Height & Weight

I have reached what I thought would be a good weight for my height. I am 166cm tall & have reached 65.90kg. I'm not as happy as I thought I'd be even though I have lost nearly 13kg. I still have a tummy & the dreaded muffin top. Another site tells me I need to lose another 15kg, does anyone have any advice? Should I change my goal or just continue the way I am? Please help!

here's my advice. continue on this journey until you are happy with your body. a certain weight looks different on everybody. and THEN you have to MAINTAIN!! its a lifestyle change so make it sustainable.
im 5'4 and my goal WAS 120 lbs. i got down to 125 lbs and looked sick. very skinny. i am now 140 lbs and much happier. i want to add muscle and cut more fat so who knows what weight i will be at?
anyways ill sum it up again: continue until you are happy. the scale is just a NUMBER0 -
I agree with Stephanie. Keep going until you're happy! My goal weight is 80kg (from a SW of 105), but even though that's my "goal" I'm not thinking of it as the end. I have always been bigger than I should be, so I don't know what 80kg will look like on me. I'm trying to think in terms of working towards 70kg, but stopping when I feel happy with how I look.
I hope that helps some!0 -
As long as you do not get to a point where you are too thin from a health perspective, then carry on until you are happy with where you are.0

You might start thinking more in terms of body composition rather than weight.

I agree with stephanie. A weight looks different on each person, even at the same height. Your bone structure has a lot to do with it. It's about how you feel not the weight the scale says. I'm 5ft 3 and have am large boned. I naturally weight a lot more than I look. Everyone would guess I weight around 120 but I am really 140 and have lost 14 pounds.
Just find the size that makes you the most comfortable. Everyone is different0 -
Thanks for all your advice, I think another 15kg would look revolting, I have gone from a size 16 to a size 12, I just really want to lose the tummy and muffin top but at my age its really surprised me what I have managed to do. Thanks so much for your feedback, I will just do what I am doing like going to the gym daily and measuring/weighing my food. I have better will power these days although I can still be a little naughty. Feel free to add me if you like.0
