Fitbit Food Plan/total weight lost not same as MFP's #s

Hi there... I'm new to Fitbit, I've only had it a few days. I've noticed a few discrepancies and was hoping someone could tell me what I'm doing wrong. (Note: I've also posted this in the Fitbit's forums and have gotten one response suggesting I try logging all exercise through Fitbit, so I've tried that this morning, by adding a specifically timed Activity Log there. So far it's not been transferred/synced over to MFP, though a separateFitbit 'Adjustment line has been started.)
First issue... I've noticed that at the end of the day, the number of calories the Fitbit's food plan says I have left and the amount of calories MFP says I have left are not the same. (Note: I made my daily calorie goals the same in both, advice I'd found in the Fitbit forum).
Yesterday, for instance, Fitbit was telling me I'm 325 calories over my 1490 calorie daily limit. MFP, on the other hand, was showing that I still have 203 remaining. As mentioned, my daily limit is set at 1490, and yesterday I earned 528 calories from exercise (partially through a separate log in MFP for 20 mins on a stationary bike, and partially through a Fitbit adjustment).
I thought making the daily calorie goal the same in both places would ensure that at the end of the night calories in/out would have reconsiled themselves and would show the same results in both places, but it seems like MFP is taking something into consideration that Fitbit is not. Any thoughts?
Also, the total weight loss showing on my Fitbit dashboad is lower than the total loss showing on MFP, by about 4.5lbs. Since I started using Fitbit much later than I started using MFP, when I set up my Fitbit profile I changed my starting weight to my original starting weight (from MFP) and then added it once a month up to the beginning of December, then once a week since then. I figured this would take care of the problem of one program showing me as having lost 31lbs to date, while the other showed me as having lost 0. Hasn't quite worked that way, and for some reason, despite having the same start and most current weights as are in MFP, Fitbit thinks I've only lost about 26.4lbs. I'm sure it's just that I've messed something up somewhere when I was setting up my Fitbit profile, maybe it just didn't like that I went in and added weigh ins for dates prior to when my Fitbit account was activated, but since it didn't seem to pull my MFP weigh ins when it did the first sync, I wasn't sure what else to do. I should note that I am viewing it on the "All" tab, and that the date range affiliated with that is showing as my first MFP weigh in to the current date, so it doesn't look like anything's being excluded there. Thoughts?
