My fitness goals for 2013

I decided to do someting that I call "A mile a month".
Basically, by the end of Janurary, I will be able to run/jog one mile without stopping.
Feburary = 2 miles without stopping.
So on and so on until, by New years Eve 2013/2014, I will be able to run 12 miles without stopping.
The most I have ever done is 8 miles non stop however, that was also wearing combat boots and a small ruck sack.
I think the biggest challange is going to be time. Once I hit the three mile mark, assuming a 8 minute average, I am looking at around 30 minutes of just running. There is still the wake up, brush teeth, shower after, get kids ready for school aspect.
Well, we will see how it all goes.

Nice challenge!!! I ran a half marathon in 2012 and it was an awesome feeling.0

Awesome goal. I may have to incorporate it into my goals. Next goal is to get my 5k time down, 10k by summer, and Tough Mudder in 2014, so I will have to get to 12 miles anyway.0
