Need some Aussies to help with cheap family food ideas!

Hello! *Waves*
I'm new here at the suggestion of a few FB friends. So far this place looks great!
A few things I'd really like to help me on my new journey:
Anyone willing to offer daily Motivation and Commitment, feel free to add me.
If you are good with preparing cheap healthy family friendly meals, using Australian ingredients, I'd love to be friends!
As of this morning I'm 113 kgs. My partner is complaining about my 'new' snoring habit and I DON'T LIKE IT. (Neither does he!)
It has helped to get my mind back onto my health.
I enjoy JUICING and am aiming to do a 10 day juice fast starting Jan the 1st. After that I'd like to add yummy soups into my diet (i.e Chicken & Leek, Curried Pea) and I need some great healthy ideas to get my 5 & 1/2 yo son eating better than he is now. My 19mo daughter LOVES eating healthy which is awesome.

Shawny, i too weighed 113kg when i started (113.6 to be exact) I'm down to 107.4 so far but only discovered MyFitnessPal few months ago and wish i had of known about it beforehand! It's made a world of difference so stick to it!

I've found that I've just stuck to simple meals, but made them interesting. For example, last night we had chicken breast marinated with mixed vegi's. The marinade was lemongrass, parsley, garlic, chilli, soy sauce and olive oil. Lemongrass, chilli and parsley I get in the herb squeeze packets. Vegi's were asparagus, sweet potatoe, broccoli and beans, diced, thrown in the frying pan, with a little water. But you can use any vegetables you want. I also make up enough to do our lunches for the next day. Herb and spices are my best friends.

Your 5 1/2 year old (and you?) might like some low cal spaghetti. There's a product called Slim Pasta that you can get from Woolworths(I find it's shelved with all the gluten free stuff/other health foods) that is like regular spaghetti pasta, just with much lower calories. It's made from shirotaki noodles, which you'll see people rave about around here. Mix that up with some lean mince and fresh tomatos (sometimes I'm lazy and just use a jar of pasta sauce).0
