Help with my new HRM?

Hello everyone, I recently purchased a BodyMedia Fit and have been using it for 4-5 days now. While I am absolutely loving it, I am also desperately confused. When I synch my device each night, it adds 1000+ calories to my food diary for the day. Am I really eating that many too few calories? Or is there some adjustment I need to make?
