Awesome! Good for you! I've been through 4 rounds. I actually started my journey with P90X and have been hooked ever since! My absolute first suggestion: take your before pics!!!! You will be glad you did!

Don't get obsessed with weighing yourself; let the program do it's thing. It will work, if you work it. Meaning, it's not just about pushing play, you need to also make sure you're eating well and by well I mean clean! Use the guide book as it will let you know where you need to be. And if you still feel like you could shed some more fat after the first 30 days, you can continue phase I eating a few more weeks, into phase II.

Always use the workout sheets so you can track your progress. It's always fun to see how you've improved and it will motivate you even more.

Don't be afraid to increase youre weights as you see fit. You'll find that you will become stronger and can manage more weight. And like you'll hear Tony say, "Don't get all jacked up about the numbers." "Quality over quantity." Maintaining good form is always #1!

Above all of that, have fun with it! I saw results in as little as 2 weeks!!!! I love this program! So much that I got my certification in it!

Good luck and keep us posted!
  • It's good to know the program really works. My only concern right now is that it won't work a lot of my lower body, but I've heard that it does. Clean eating is definitely going to be hard, but I already eat fairly healthy anyway so it might not be too bad. I have a body fat/muscle mass scale so I am really excited to see if my body fat percentage goes down. I know looking/how your body feels is the best gauge of progress though. Thanks for the support!
