New and looking for motivation

Hello everyone!!

I am new and have counted calories on MFP within the past week, but did not realize the community offer even more support. There are many reasons I am watching what I eat, including emotional eating, toning up muscles, and feeling more confident in my body. I am not necessarily overweight or look like it - one benefit of being 5'11" - so just looking to meet some friends and getting more motivation to become more healthy.
