Pre-workout snack

What does everyone eat before a workout (if anything at all)? I'm very interested to hear your suggestions!

    I eat afterwards. Protein and healthy carbs. Usually Muscle Milk.

    today I had greek yogurt, sometimes I have eggs and cheese. I don't stress too much about what I eat before hand, but make sure I replenish after!

    I work out in the evenings after I have had dinner. I have 1 scoop of muscle milk afterwards and that helps keep my soreness down the next morning.

    1 slice of whole wheat bread and 1tsp of peanut butter or a banana. I usually work out in the a.m
    and like to have a little something
  • 80 grams of publix rolled oats
    8 ounces of almond milk
    16 grams of almond butter
    100 grams of sliced bananas
    14 grams of ground flax seed
    33 grams of optimum nutrition extreme chocolate protein powder

    3 multivitamin tablets

    16 ounces of water
    23 grams of raspberry lemonade muscle pharm

    I recently started drinking a whey protein shake before going to the gym.
    1 scoop in a cup of whole milk.
    I started doing this after I got a fuzzy headed after a workout and not having eating enough during the day before going to the gym.
    Seems to make a difference in my energy level at through the workout too, particularly swimming. It is easier to push past 2 miles then hit the weight room.

    Pre workout is either a protein bar or protein shake about 1.5 hours prior. I usually lift at night so afterwards I take some BCAAs and have dinner.
