I'm sorry you people have disfigured yourselves.
    On purpose!

My Body is a temple and I am painting my church!!

Not to mention YOU are on a weight loss site so I am guesing that you too disfigured your body!! Judge much?
With references to church and quoting Scripture, you obviously know Matthew 7:1.
Now read a few verses later about the speck in someone's eye while there's a log in your own.
Yeah, I'm on a weight loss site; however, I can (and have) rectified that 'disfigurement.'
One cannot easily (or economically) get rid of ink.
And, I'm still sorry that otherwise nice-looking, sensible people choose to mutilate themselves.
  • Lets see all of your tattooos

You call it disfigurement I call it beautification,
now I will quote the book of Trackercasey76 "Mind your own friggin business"
You opened a thread titled "show us ur tattoos!" and then criticized the people that did just that.

You don't like tattoos. We get it. Everyone is entitled to their opinion. The thing to remember is that it is our choice to "disfigure" or "mutilate" ourselves in this manner.

Everytime there is a tattoo thread I try to post mine. I only have two.

This one always posts no problem:

But I could never get my wedding band to post. But I think I've finally figured it out:

    Go to http://imgur.com
    Upload your picture.
Copy the "direct link" to the image (ends in .jpg)
Come over here, and type in [*img*] without the asterisks and then the link right here in the middle and then type in [*/img*] without the asterisks and then submit.

The only difference between people with tattoos and people without tattoos.... people WITH tattoos don't care that you DON'T have tattoos.... its a form of expression. I LOVE my tats.

And damn proud of it too!

Same here! I have too many to post and honestly i'm friggin lazy, but I'm proud of my tattoos! Can't wait to get more after I have this baby ;)

    not even one of them?
  • I have 13 tattoos, most of them on my arms, I am planning on having sleeves done.

(*Star signs of my family on my forearms, 4 on each side.
*4 leafed clover on the top of my write wrist.
*My daughter's name in her handwriting on my left forearm.
*My husband's words of love "Forever Yours" just underneath my daughter's name.
*Chinese symbol for wealth, because I was looking for inner wealth in a moment of darkness.
*And my star sign, Scorpio, at the bottom of my back [before tramp stamps were an issue ;) I am proud of that one though!])

As far as the argument about disfiguring ourselves, I am a self-harmer (although I don't cut any more), I wear my scars (my battle scars) with pride, as I do my tattoos. Each one is a sign of personal achievement for my.
My body is slowly becoming a map of my life.

I am proud of who I am, how far I have come and I am glad I have space for the rest of my journey.

Thank you for your opinion, but it will not change how anyone feels about their work. We all got our tatts for a reason.
