I just buy a small popcorn. They seem to prefer it if you don't smuggle in your own personal food. I do bring my own water - there's no way I can justify paying theatre prices for a bottled water.

The small popcorn is so ridiculously small that the "damage" is minimized some. I love how they always beg you to buy the next size up (for only 50 cents more!!!)

I don't go to the movies often anyways so...it's all just part of the evening.

edit: the salt sure messes me up though yikes.
