I created this smoothie recipe, tell me what you thing. I got the frozen fruit in the bag and on the back it had a recipe that included the fruit, 1 1/4 c. milk and 6 oz yogurt. So I did 1/4 fat free skim milk, one cup of a protein shake (it says chocolate but it's the vanilla Evolve Muscle Milk) and then for the yogurt I used the 100 calorie fat free Greek yogurt. It will make 2 smoothies, around 14 oz each. I figured if I replaced the regular milk and yogurt with more protein it would fill me up longer. The fruit only has 70 calories for the whole bag, 110 calories for the Evolve Muscle Milk, 100 for the yogurt and very few for the milk. Oh! I also added a fresh banana.....gotta go add that to the recipe

What are your opinions?

Not bad at all..just don't know if it tastes great although I have to try it..I use honey and sometimes a splash of pulpy oj..def. use the yogurt and the protein powder before a workout..don't do it every day - maybe I should. Thanx for the inspiration and yummy recipe.

    It sounds great!

I like to use a half cup of frozen strawberries, half of a medium banana. 8 oz of V8 Fusion Strawberry Banana juice (100% Fruit and Veggies) and 2 Tbsp of peanut butter.

It is my after workout smoothie. Tastes amazing and its under 400 calories for a very filling smoothie. If you wanted less, leave out the PB!
