"Back to Nature" - super tasty!

Yesterday a co-worker of mine brought Back to Nature peanut butter cream sandwich cookies in. The taste was fantastic (better than any oreo I've ever had) but the best part? No hydrogenated oil, no high fructose corn syrup, no preservatives. 120 calories for a serving of 2 cookies - the trick - managing to eat only one serving. They're that good.

I headed to the health food store today where I also found some of their crackers - stoneground wheat something or other - same thing - no high fructose corn syrup or hydrogenated oil. Can I just say........ WOW!!!! I am a cracker hound and regularly buy Wheat Thins Fiber Select (garden vegetable). These left the Wheat thins entirely in the dust.

And their trail mix!?!?! Don't get me started! Where else can you find something with pistachios, almonds, pecans, dried apricots, sunflower seeds, etc - all in the SAME mix?

My snacks today were entirely from this line and I am so satisfied..... :) Guess I owe my co-worker!

That seriously made my mouth water. Better then Oreos?!?!? I didn't think there was such a thing. I hope I can find this stuff here in Oregon.

By the way awesome job on your weight loss! I hope to be where you are at sooner then later. Pretty view in your profile picture too.

Okay - maybe I should say - better than Nutter Butters (since they're peanut butter flavored) - but OMG! I shared with friends who also were WAY amazed at how good they are. If you google "Back to Nature" and "cookies" - you should find the website - you can place an order from there if you can't find them locally. There's also a list of stores by state that carry them - including Safeway, Costco, Wal-Mart, etc. I couldn't find them at the places on the list - but the local health food store carried it.

Oh - and thank you for the encouragement. Have fun and keep enjoying yourself on this journey to better health! :)

Paul Newman makes Oreo type cookies without all that (bad) stuff and they're delicious. I also buy the nature's own chocolate chip cookies, which are wonderful! I'm a big fan of Nature's Own products.

I've had the Ginger-O's of this line - they were interestingly good. (another one of my health-food oriented co-workers gets the credit). Are the Nature's Own choco chip cookies chewy or crunchy? Just curious about what to expect. Thanks for the tip!

Crunchy'ish. Not rock hard like some 'crunchy' cookies are, but enough to leave a few crumbs when you take a bite.
