What in the heck do you do with these things?? My neighbor brought us over a whole sack full, and I have never cooked one, or have even ever really thought of making/using them. I'm too lazy to look up recipes on the net - would much rather get some healthy, tasty ideas from the awesome members of MFP.
Any ideas??

I normally put them in soup.0

You can peel them and boil them with seasoning and eat them in chunks or mash them like potatoes. If you cook a roast, you can add peeled ones with other vegetables. Look up some recipes and enjoy them. Don't be lazy. They are good for you.0

I usually peel, quarter, boil for ~35-40 minutes with salt and splenda, and mash. Some people find the flavor to be a little strong on it's own so you can mix it with potato and mash them together which is deeeeelish. Optional-add butter/cheese.0

I love turnips (rutabaga). Just boil them.0

Cut them up and roast them with olive oil, salt, and a bit of rosemary. That's my favorite way to eat them!0
